Purpose:To show on video our small surgical history in paediatric cataracts Methods:The A.A. present 12 operated eyes in 9 children's aged between 3 months and 8 years old. In 10 eyes we performed: anterior continuous circular capsulorrexis (ACCC), phacoaspiration, posterior continuous circular capsulorrexis (PCCC), anterior vitrectomy, and implantation of foldable acrylic intraocular lens in the capsular bag with optical capture in posterior capsulorrexis. We describe the technique, the difficulties of some surgical steps and the compliations Results: Conclusion:The anatomic results of this surgery were very good, but the functional results depend on the children age at the time of surgery and if the cataract was in one or both eyes.
