Purpose:We examened people in institutions for mentally disabled people Methods:we examined 6000 people in a period of 8 years Results:many people in the institutions for mentally disabled people have severe problems with their visual performance. Conclusion:it is very important to give advices to institutions about the visual performance of the people who live in institutions for mentally handicapped people
