Annual Meeting 2009 - Invitation

Dear Friends, dear Colleagues,

It is my pleasure to cordially invite you to the 35th meeting of the European Paediatric Ophthalmological Society - EPOS - to be held in Paris, France.

EPOS 2009 will be focussing on "Perinatal Ophthalmology". Free papers and posters from other fields of genetic and paediatric ophthalmology are welcome as in the past years giving the annual meeting its unique charme. The format of the meeting with keynote lectures, scientific papers with sufficient time for discussion, and ample poster sessions allows for a vivid exchange of ideas. Please, note that strabismus and related topics do not form part of the meeting.

EPOS aims to promote both clinical and scientific paediatric and genetic ophthalmology throughout Europe and beyond, and aims, in particular, to attract young clinicians and researchers to the field. In this spirit, the travel grant programme and best presentation awards have been made available again. For more detail, please visit the website of the Society www.epos-focus.org. Longstanding relations between many members of EPOS and an open mind to integrate newcomers in the field are excellent opportunities for building up successful collaborations and fruitful personal contacts.
